| Imperial Bombers began bombarding the base with proton
bombs, wave after wave smashing the ancient buildings to rubble.
a few minutes out from the bombers where the ground assault forces. Eradius
could see the bombers circling around something obscured by the tree line, he
wanted swift victory over the rebels, and he believed he would get it, with
such a swift attack he doubted there fighters would have time to take off
before considerable damage was done, and after this wave the bombers would
return to the colossus and the fighters would pick off any ships attempting to
leave the base.
|minutes later
the shuttles landed next to the base and stormtroopers began pouring out,
firing with deadly accuracy at the rebels who where to distracted by the
evacuation call and the wake of destruction left by the bombers to notice the
invading forces, "perfect execution" Eradius thought, as he watched
from the safety of the shuttle. he would wait a few minutes to let the
stormtroopers do there work before he left the ship. |

| OOC: Your kind of covering quite a bit of ground timewise. Considering Jan Addmin alerted a base avacuation right after your communications were transmitted, your ships probably should have met in the air at least. And you didn't give them much of a chance to retaliate.
Since you were sending out so many NPC fighters and troopers, it's kind of my job to say how well they do, if they hit their intended targets or not.
One other thing, post a post as Commodore Lore or another NPC commanding one of the shuttles and put it "Somewhere on Yavin 4..." and stop to meet and pick up Daresky. (Maybe even chew her out for sending a decryped transmission nearby a rebel base.  Just a thought.)
BTW: Great posting on capturing Kayder.

| | [OOC] i will say i use the bombers to help the fighters take out the transports, and once the transports are destroyed to go for the fighters, in that confusion we land with ground forces, i did actually send out fighters before the evac was called, im sure |

Since this is an all out fight going on, don't do so quite so much at once. Give the the person (Or NPCs) your fighting a chance to post their response to your maneuvers.
